How did we end up here? We have been coming to Rockport for more than 20 years. Friends brought us to the area. Our families had fun fishing off the piers, playing in the water, trying to find George's place, hanging out in hammocks, and working on their small bungalow in Holiday Beach. Our friends moved off to different adventures and Brent and I stayed and decided to move closer to the Beach (Ginger's idea) . Brent is always about financial progress so, we settled on a piece of property for an RV park. Our children were all in high School at the time and helped us quite a bit!! As high school life kicked in, Brent and I needed some PEACE! So we named our little RV spot Peace on the Gulf. Now we are empty nesters, doing the work ourselves a little at a time, and trying to get some adventure in here and there. We call ourselves an RV Community. We have had, and do have, many lovely people staying with us! Rockport is a community on the move and there are many exciting new developments in the area! Make sure you get to the old/new downtown shops and restaurants on S Austin Street, you will not be disappointed!!

We like it here for many reasons! Some of which are location, close to town and restaurants, shops and close to boat launches because we love to go fishing!
The lots at large enough for our RV, boat and vehicle. Large oak trees and super quiet. We have been here for 3 years and love it here. In the spring and fall we have deer that visit the lots.
